External Wall Insulation (EWI) involves insulating the exterior of a property which has a solid wall construction, where cavity wall insulation is not possible.

EWI offers additional benefits vs Internal Wall Insulation as floor space is not lost inside the property and it is less disruptive for property owners and tenants. It offers similar thermal benefits to IWI but can be a more expensive process.
